Sport motorcycles are not like other models on the market. These bikes exhibit unmatched speed and agility, which can sometimes make them a bit tricky to learn to ride. Thankfully, to help you get the hang of this model’s sensitive controls, we’ve written up the helpful riding tips below.

Build Stamina

Sport motorcycles require a lot of strength and endurance to ride—something you’ll need to build up over time. Until then, you’ll want to keep trips a bit short so you don’t end up far from home and too exhausted to ride back. If you’re looking to build up your riding endurance faster, you can perform a few basic core strengthening exercises to help you improve.

Go Slow

Sport motorcycles are incredibly fast, and even experienced riders can struggle to adjust to the model’s incredible acceleration. For the first month or so, don’t push the speedometer too far out of your comfort zone. Instead, practice braking, making turns, and maneuvering your model while staying in the rider's position. A sport motorcycle requires riders to lean forward and keep their feet high, so learning to ride while in this position—much less at top speeds— will take some practice.
