Yamaha's next-generation 4.2-litre F300 Offshore outboard combines a high performance, big block V6 featuring outstanding power and fuel efficiency with the availability of Yamaha-exclusive built-in Digital Electric Steering and Thrust Enhancing Reverse Exhaust system.

KEY- The same smooth, fast, and precise Digital Electric Steering that was introduced on the XTO Offshore is now built-in to F300 variants. DEC models can be equipped with the new bolt-on Helm Master® EX Digital Electric Steering as well.
- Thrust Enhancing Reverse Exhaust (TERE) keeps exhaust bubbles above the anti-ventilation plate and out of the propeller below 2500 rpm when in reverse. This means the prop bites only clean water, resulting in outstanding reverse thrust and control to back down on fish.
- Faster, easier engine tilting with Yamaha’s exclusive TotalTilt™ function, which allows complete tilt up from any position with a simple push of a button.

- Yamaha V6 Offshore models come standard with dual pairs of water inlets, for increased cooling efficiency. Located on the front and both sides of the lower unit, each pair of pick-ups operate independently of each other to provide proper water flow in a wide variety of applications and conditions.
- 4.2 litres of class-leading displacement teams with individual intake and exhaust camshafts to provide more precise valve timing control with fewer moving parts than conventional rocker arm systems for increased reliability. This superior design also allows for use of 4 valves per cylinder which exchange intake and exhaust gases more efficiently for responsive power and increased fuel economy.
- All air entering the engine block of each Yamaha V6 Offshore outboard is routed through a single 75mm electronically-controlled throttle valve. Working in concert with the Precision Multi-Point Fuel Injection System, these features help ensure the precise amount of air and fuel necessary for optimum power and fuel ef?ciency. The reduction in friction from the micro-textured cylinder walls further adds to this outboard’s amazing fuel economy.
